Tulip Town
Municipal Government Website
Municipal government tourism website for a fictional town near Corner Brook, Newfoundland + Labrador, Canada.
I made this website as a project for Skillcrush - the online school where I learned to code.
This website is one page despite the (clearly fake) navigation links. It's a pretty little tourism brochure for...somewhere. From the stock photos in the site it looks like we could be in an English country village, somewhere in the Netherlands - or maybe even New York City. Yes, stock photography has that alternate-dimension sort of effect.
This website is responsive - it responds to the size of the screen it's being displayed on. I made it using the Flexbox and Grid CSS frameworks. Skillcrush provided the mobile version of the site code and it was my job to use code to re-arrange the layout for larger screens - specifically landscape-oriented tablet and desktop computers.
There was no SEO, UX or copywriting involved in this website.
